‘Evaru Meelo Koteeswarulu’ to mirror the society and its people: Jr NTR
Speaking on the occasion, Jr NTR said the reason behind associating with Gemini TV (Sun Network) and Studio NEXT was that it has an interesting factor that it is offering to interact with the common public.
Actor Jr NTR is all gearing up for yet another show on television. He will be hosting the upcoming show ‘Evaru Meelo Koteeswarulu’, (Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?) a Telugu version of Kaun Banega Crorepati.
Speaking on the occasion, Jr NTR said the reason behind associating with Gemini TV (Sun Network) and Studio NEXT was that it has an interesting factor that it is offering to interact with the common public.
“Their lifestyle, their journies. Not just offering the money for answering the questions sitting in the hot seat, Evaru Meelo Koteeswarulu will give them confidence while returning home. Big Boss reality show is different because we get to interact with contestants in the house.
Whereas here, I could learn from the experiences of commoners, their success stories amidst fighting against all the odds. The show is not just meant for those who are educated, well-behaved or cultured. It is for everyone. The show will mirror society and its people at large,” he said.
To a query that when his fans could expect him into active politics, Jr NTR politely refused an answer and maintained that it is not the right time here to discuss. “We would rather discuss such topics some fine day with a cup of tea, later.” he smiled.
Stating that senior actors like Nagarjuna Akkineni and Megastar Chiranjeevi have created a mark with the show earlier, Jr NTR admitted it would certainly be a tough task for him to handle it when it goes on air. “The show isn’t going to be a scripted one. It is going to be live and organic,” he added.
Taking to his Instagram account, Tarak posted a picture of him and wrote, “Waiting to meet you on the hot seat! #EvaruMeeloKoteeswarulu.”
