Every girl should become inspirational to other girls: Karimnagar Collector
The Collector said that it was unfortunate that female foeticides were happening in an era where women were going into space.
Karimnagar: Collector Pamela Satpathy said every girl should become an inspiration to other girls and go ahead with that goal.
Participating in the International Day of the Girl Child programme organized by the Women and Child Welfare Department at the Collectorate here on Saturday, the Collector said that it was unfortunate that female foeticides were happening in an era where women were going into space.
Though women were working in all fields, disdain still continued for females everywhere. When girls reach a young age, fear is filled among them towards the society, she said, advising girls to go ahead without fear to achieve their goals. Education was the only option to reach a higher position in life, she said.
