Hyderabad: An exhibition on “Islamic Contemporary Art and Calligraphy” was organised on the occasion of the Aalami Urdu Conference at Anwar ul Uloom Institution.

Nawab Mahboob Alam Khan, Chairman, Anwar ul Uloom Group of Institutions, and M Vedakumar, Chairman, Deccan Heritage Academy, participated in the concluding day of the exhibition.

Nawab Mahboob Alam Khan appreciated the consistent efforts of the noted calligraphy artist Mohammed Rafiuddin for organizing the exhibition to help the people to understand and inculcate the knowledge of calligraphy. Vedakumar explained that calligraphy is more than an old art form and is a combination of script and art.
