Hyderabad: Get ready for an immersive journey into the world of literature, ideas, and creativity as the Hyderabad Literary Festival returns for its highly anticipated 15th edition from January 24 to 26.

Organised by the Hyderabad Literary Trust with support from various literary and cultural organisations, the festival will once again take place at Sattva Knowledge City, Hitec City, marking its second consecutive year at this vibrant venue.


With an exciting array of events, including Lit Stream, Kaavya Dhaara, Stage Talks (Audio-Visual Track), Science and the City, Climate Conversations, Indigenous and Endangered Languages, Nanha Nukkad, Youngistaan Nukkad, Storytelling Sessions, Cultural Events, Workshops, Exhibitions, Moving Images Talkies, Film Screenings, Meet My Book, Author’s Pitch, and Interlude, the festival offers something for everyone.

Prominent figures from cinema, journalism, poetry, and activism will engage audiences, with highlights including Shabana Azmi in conversation with Amita Desai for the inaugural plenary, and Aruna Roy discussing her memoir ‘The Personal is Political: An Activist Memoir’ with C. Rammanohar Reddy on Day 2, shedding light on her life and work in the social and political spheres.

Kaavya Dhaara segment will kick off with a session on “Story, Voice, and Verse”, featuring new books by Anju Makhija and Menka Shivdasani, exploring the intersection of storytelling, voice, and verse.

For poetry lovers, Youngistaan Nukkad offers an open mic session on January 25, welcoming all formats and providing an open platform for creative expression. And this is just the beginning—there’s so much more in store over the next three days, with an incredible lineup of events, discussions, and performances.

What makes the event truly special is that it is free and open to all, providing an inclusive space for literary enthusiasts of all ages to participate.
