Fake DRDO job offer: Man arrested in Telangana’s Adilabad
Pothipalli Prashanth from Sriram Colony reportedly extracted Rs 1 lakh from Pulimamidi Krishnachary promising to help him get a job with DRDO
Adilabad: A man was arrested on the charges of duping a person by promising to provide a job with the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), here on Monday.
Adilabad I town Inspector B Sunil Kumar, in a statement, said that Pothipalli Prashanth from Sriram Colony in the town was apprehended for duping Pulimamidi Krishnachary. Prashanth extracted Rs 1 lakh from Krishnachary by assuring to help him get a job with DRDO. He failed to fulfil his word and was avoiding repayment of the funds citing pretty reasons.
Krishnachary filed a complaint with the police who booked a case and took up investigation.
