Family blames doctors of private hospital for patient’s death in Mancherial
A 53-year-old man from Nennal mandal, died of cardiac arrest while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Mancherial. His family alleged negligence by hospital doctors, prompting his son to file a police complaint.
Mancherial: A person died while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in the town, with his family alleging that doctors were responsible for his death on Wednesday.
The police said Vadluri Srinivas (53) of Nennal mandal died of cardiac arrest at Arogya Multispecialty Hospitals. He had been admitted on January 10 after his right leg became infected and was later amputated. He was anaemic and was suffering from multiple health complications.
However, family members attributed the death to negligence on the part of the hospital doctors in providing treatment to Srinivas. His son, Shiva, lodged a complaint with the police, following which a case was registered against the doctors of the hospital. An investigation has been taken up.
