Family blames MCH doctors for stillborn delivery in Mancherial
A family from Kodampet village in Kotapalli mandal has accused doctors at the mother and child hospital in Mancherial of negligence after a stillborn delivery. The father, K Sairam, demanded accountability for the death of the foetus.

Mancherial: Members of a family demanded action against doctors of the mother and child hospital in Mancherial following the death of a newborn on Wednesday.
K Sairam, a daily-wage earner from Kodampet village in Kotapalli mandal alleged that his wife Saritha delivered a stillborn due to negligence of the doctors at the hospital. He demanded action against those responsible for the death of the foetus. He accused the doctors of showing negligence in handling the woman’s delivery.
Medical superintendent of the hospital Dr Vedavyas clarified that an inquiry was being conducted into the incident even as parents were not ready to lodge a complaint with the officials. He claimed that the doctors struggled to save the foetus, but in vain considering certain complications.
