Hyderabad: Fanatics, a digital sports platform with 22,000 employees in more than 80 locations, have announced the strengthening of its leadership, increasing in technical hiring, and expanding its footprint within India.

As part of its global expansion and commitment to enhancing the fan experience, Fanatics will double its technical workforce in Hyderabad, growing from 250 to over 500 employees within the next two years.

In addition to the hiring growth, Fanatics will move into a new, larger office space in Hitec City by 2026, which will be three times the size of its current location.

To lead the Hyderabad office, Fanatics has appointed Abhishek Dhasmana as vice-president and general manager. Abhishek joins Fanatics from Indeed, where he held the position of site head for the company’s India development centre.

Matthias Spycher, interim chief technology officer of Fanatics, said, “We are committed to building a sustainable and high-performing organisation in Hyderabad, with strong leadership that drives high-impact technical projects and develops innovative products.”
