Adilabad: A farmer was allegedly axed to death by his two relatives following family disputes at Narsapur (B) village in Utnoor mandal on Tuesday.
Police said Kamble Chandramuni, 38, suffered profuse bleeding after sustaining serious injuries when his cousins, Abhinandan and Yogiraj, reportedly attacked him with an axe. He was rushed to Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS)-Adilabad, where he died while undergoing treatment.
It was learnt that Abhinandan and Yogiraj assaulted Chandramuni for moving closely with a woman known to them. They had warned Chandramuni against speaking to the woman, but he continued to stay in touch with her. They picked up an argument with him, blaming him. In a fit of rage, they axed him to death.
