Farmer commits suicide over land dispute in Siddipet

A farmer from Tigulnarsapur in Jagadevpur mandal died by suicide after a dispute with neighbours over access to his land, sparking tension in the village.

Siddipet: Dispute over way to his land led to the suicide of a farmer at Tigul Narsapur in Jagadevpur mandal on Thursday. The farmer Pullem Kumara Swamy (60) reportedly hanged himself near his land where he had a dispute with six neighbouring farmers. The farmer had an argument with them on Wednesday.

Since then, he was worried about losing the way to his land. The suicide created tension in the village. The police have registered a case and an investigation is underway.
