Farmer electrocuted after coming into contact with snapped power line in Medak
A 51-year-old farmer died after being electrocuted by a snapped live electric wire while preparing his field for a paddy nursery in Variguntham village of Medak district. Police registered a case and shifted the body for postmortem examination.
Medak: A farmer was electrocuted at Variguntham in Kulcharam mandal on Monday. The farmer Kuruma Pochaiah (51, who was preparing his field for a paddy nursery, came in touch with live electric wires.
The electric line reportedly snapped off. Unaware of this, the farmer ventured into the field. He was survived by wife and two children. The police registered a case. The body was taken to the government hospital in Medak for postmortem.
