Farmer electrocuted in Mulugu

A 62-year-old farmer was electrocuted after accidentally stepping on a live wire in Devunagar village of Mallampalli mandal, Mulugu district.

Mulugu: A farmer was electrocuted at Devnagar village of Mallampalli mandal in the district on Tuesday.

The deceased Porla Veeraiah (62) of the village went to his agricultural field to water the crops in the morning. He accidentally stepped on a live electricity wire, fell on the ground near his field, suffered an electric shock and died on the spot.

Based on the complaint of the family members the local police registered a case and took up an investigation.
