Farmer electrocuted while fixing borewell pump in Medak
A farmer in Medak district died of electrocution while attempting to fix a technical fault in his borewell pump set at Nagasanpalle village.
Medak: In a tragic incident, a farmer was electrocuted while resolving a technical glitch at his borewell pump set at Nagasanpally in Kowdipally mandal. Chinthalagari Gopal (45) completed the transplantation of paddy after Manjeera received heavy inflows in Medak.
However, his borewell pump set turned defunct due to some technical issue. He came in touch with the live electric wire while he was restoring the power supply to the pump set. Gopal died on the spot. The farmer is survived by his wife and two children.
A case has been registered and the body was taken to the government hospital in Medak for postmortem.
