Farmer killed as RTC bus hits motorcycle in Telangana’s Indervelli
A TGSRTC bus rammed a motorcycle in Indervelli mandal, Adilabad, killing 23-year-old Badke Santosh on the spot. Pillion rider Danve Sanjay was seriously injured and shifted to RIMS–Adilabad. A hit-and-run case has been registered, and investigations are underway
Adilabad: A young farmer was killed on the spot and another sustained serious injuries when a TGSRTC bus rammed into the motorcycle they were riding between Muthnoor and Shankarguda villages in Indervelli mandal on Wednesday.
Police said Badke Santosh (23) of Harkapur village died instantly after the bus hit the two-wheeler. The pillion rider, Danve Sanjay of the same village, was seriously injured and shifted to RIMS–Adilabad. His condition was reported to be stable.
Santosh’s father, Maruthi, lodged a complaint with the police. A hit-and-run case was registered against the bus driver. Investigation is under way.
