Farmers block Rajiv Rahadari in Karimnagar demanding urea supply

Karimnagar: Farmers staged a rasta roko at Gundlapalli stage in Ganneruvaram mandal on Rajiv Rahadari, demanding the supply of urea. Vehicular traffic on the Karimnagar–Hyderabad route came to a standstill as farmers sat on the road.
Siddipet Rural Circle Inspector, who was travelling to Siddipet from Karimnagar, intervened and convinced the farmers to withdraw their protest. While interacting with the ryots, the Inspector warned that cases would be registered if anyone continued to block the road. He also directed the agriculture officer to take steps to arrange urea at the earliest.
