Farmers demand crop loan waiver in Jagtial

Farmers found fault with the Congress party, which promised to waive all crop loans, for deceiving them by denying crop loan waiver scheme to them after coming to power.

Jagtial: Farmers, who did not get the promised crop loan waiver benefit, reached the district collectorate here in big numbers and submitted a representation to officials at the Prajavani programme on Monday.

Ryots from Thombbarraopet of Medipalli mandal and Varshakonda of Ibrahimpatnam mandal, came to the collectorate and submitted the representation requesting the officials to take initiatives for the waiver of their crop loans.


Speaking on the occasion, farmers found fault with the Congress party, which promised to waive all crop loans, for deceiving them by denying crop loan waiver scheme to them after coming to power.

Though they were eligible for the schemes, their crop loans have not been waived, they said.
