Farmers felicitate Adilabad SP for recovering funds from cyber fraudster
The farmers Jillela Mohan from Bheempur mandal, Nakkala Jagadish of Thantoli, Nagubai belonging to Chinchughat, Ashamma from Arli (T), Jalala Venkati and Jagadamba fertilizers thanked the superintendent for striving hard to recover Rs 8 lakh illegally diverted by an employee of the postal department to his account in 2024.
Adilabad: Five farmers from different parts of the district thanked Superintendent of Police Akhil Mahajan for recovering funds that were illegally transferred to an account of a postal department’s employee. They felicitated Akhil here on Monday.

Akhil advised the public to report loss of funds to cyber fraudsters or any other cyber-related crimes by immediately contacting police on toll free number 1930. Cyber crime DSP Haseebullah and staffer Yesudas were present.
