Hyderabad: The round table meeting on Krishna Water Disputes wanted Central government to initiate measures for getting an early verdict from Brijesh Kumar Tribunal and put an end to the ongoing disputes between the two Telugu States over River Krishna water sharing.
The round table meeting was organized by Telangana Rashtra Rythu Sangham at Makhdoom Bhavan here on Thursday. CPI State Secretary C Venkat Reddy, TDP leader C Kashinath, irrigation experts D. Laxminarayana, Shyam Prasad Reddy and others participated in the meeting.

Participants at the round table meeting wanted both the Telugu States governments to approach the Brijesh Kumar Tribunal and address the disputes.
CPI State Secretary C Venkat Reddy wanted the Telangana government to convene an all-party meeting over River Krishna water disputes and present concrete proposals before the Brijesh Kumar Tribunal, said a press release.
