Fatal fall claims life of mill worker in Asifabad

The Kaghaznagar police said that the deceased was identified as Vikas Naik (33), a native of Odisha and employee of the paper mill

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: A worker belonging to Sirpur Paper Mills Private limited died after falling off from a 20-feet structure of the electrical wing at the paper manufacturing company in Kaghaznagar on Tuesday. The Kaghaznagar police said that the deceased was identified as Vikas Naik (33), a native of Odisha and employee of the paper mill.

Vikas sustained serious head injuries as he fell down from the roof of the electrical wing when he was engaged in some repair work, resulting in his instant death. He was shifted to a hospital where he was declared brought dead by doctors.


Police rushed to the spot and inquired into the incident. The body was shifted to Sirpur (T) government hospital for a postmortem. The body was preserved till the arrival of kin of the worker.
