Hyderabad: Angry Star Rajashekar’s upcoming film ‘Shekar’ will have a crucial role for his daughter Shivani Rajasekhar.
Touted to be a thriller, the film for the first time will have the father-daughter duo sharing screen space in a Telugu movie. Jeevitha Rajashekar is wielding the megaphone for the movie besides penning the screenplay.
Speaking about the project, Jeevitha Rajasekhar said, “The scenes between Rajasekhar and Shivani are going to be a major attraction. They are natural and come across as their real-life selves. The scenes are going to be organic and the performances are designed to bring the natural appeal. We are glad that the first glimpse and the single ‘Love Gante’ have been received well on social media. Post-production works are on at the moment. The release date will be announced soon.”
Other characters in the film include Aathmeeya Rajan, ‘George Reddy’ fame Muskaan Kubchandhani, Abhinav Gomatam, Kannada Kishore, Sameer, Bharani, Ravi Varma, Shravan Raghavendra.
The movie is being bankrolled jointly by Beeram Sudhakara Reddy, Shivani Rajashekar, Shivathmika Rajashekar, and Boggaram Venkata Srinivas on Pegasus Cinecorp, Taurus Cinecorp, Sudhakar Impex IPL, and Tripura Creations production banners.
