Father, son killed after car crashes into tree in Nirmal; Mother, daughter injured
The family were returning to Manmad after visiting Suresh's in-laws at Kuchulapur village in Boath mandal at the time of the mishap
Nirmal: A man and his son were killed, while his wife and daughter sustained injuries when their car crashed into a roadside tree after tyre burst at Chakpelli village in Narsapur (G) mandal on Wednesday.
Narsapur (G) Sub-Inspector M Hanumandlu said that Sangen Suresh (30) from Manmad of Lokeshwaram mandal, his son Danush (7) were wounded grievously when their car dashed against a tree at Chakpelli village, resulting in instantaneous death for Danush.
Suresh breathed his last while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Nirmal.
Suresh’s wife Priyanka sustained serious injuries, while his daughter Thaniska suffered minor injuries.
Priyanka was shifted to a hospital in Hyderabad. Her medical condition was learnt to be stable.
The family were returning to Manmad after visiting Suresh’s in-laws at Kuchulapur village in Boath mandal at the time of the mishap.
Laxmi, mother-in-law of Suresh, lodged a complaint with police. A case was registered.
