They transferred money to Aditya's father's bank account on Wednesday

Mancherial: Social activist Renikunta Ramesh and his friends came to the rescue of a six-year old boy Nagishetti Aditya belonging to Bellampalli town, by extending financial aid to the latter, helping him in undergoing treatment for his renal failure. They transferred money to the boy’s father’s bank account on Wednesday.

Ramesh posted a message on his Facebook wall, narrating the plight of the financially weak patient on June 4. His friends from several parts of both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and non-residents of India settled abroad responded to the post by generously contributing to the cause and raised Rs 1.30 lakh for the treatment.

“Aditya has been suffering from renal failure for a year or so. His parents spent Rs 9 lakh for providing dialysis and other treatment. They still need funds for treatment until his kidneys are replaced. Upon knowing about the condition of the boy, we managed to raise the funds and bring respite to him,” Ramesh said.
