FDP on 3-D Printing and Design held at VNRVJIET

Hyderabad: The Department of Mechanical Engineering, VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology (VNRVJIET), has conducted a 5-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on ‘3-D Printing and Design’.

Sponsored under the AICTE Training and Learning Academy (ATAL) scheme, the online FDP attracted over 300 applications from over 21 States out of which over 160 participants have been shortlisted for participation and 110 participants attended the programme, coordinator Prof Y Shivraj Narayan said.

Speakers from the academia included senior faculty members from IIT-Kanpur, IIT-Tirupati, NIT-Warangal, Osmania University College of Engineering, VNRVJIET, and also had trainers from the 3-D printing industry and medical and healthcare sectors, a press release said.
