Kishore and Kavitha used to live in Hyderabad, running a barber shop in Chilkalguda area. Since they could not get enough income due to lockdown during the last one and half year, the family was in a deep financial crisis.
Kavitha and Kishore returned to their native village a week ago. On their way back to Hyderabad on a two-wheeler on Wednesday, they decided to end their lives as they saw no end to their problems, Sub-inspector of Police Subhash Goud said.

They also called up their relatives who rushed them to Osmania General Hospital. While Kavitha died on Thursday, Kishore died on Friday morning while undergoing treatment.
The couple has two minor sons. Police registered a case.
