A young couple from Manchal mandal died by suicide in separate incidents, sparking grief across two villages. The woman’s family blamed her partner for her death, prompting a protest at the local police station. Police have launched an investigation.

The couple are identified as Yadappa (42) and his wife Jyothi (38).

According to the Papannapet police, Dharaboyina Nagesh (34) and Swaroopa (30), were engaged by a farmer Srinivas Reddy as employees at his farm. They used to work as cattle herders.

The victims were identified as Kishore (45) and Kavitha (38), natives of Pothanpally in Chegunta Mandal.

According to police and local people, the couple was already frustrated over not conceiving children and were further depressed over financial constraints as they lost their jobs in Mumbai.
