Hyderabad: Drithi Kesari put up a fine show in Hyderabad’s five-wicket win against Odisha in the BCCI women’s T-20 cricket championship league match at Gwalior (MP) on Wednesday.

Batting first, Odisha was restricted to 108 for eight in 20 overs with M. Sakshi Rao, V Mahesh Kavya and Drithi Kesari picking two wickets apiece. Dhrithi was brilliant in the field, picking two catches and was adjudged ‘best fielder’ of the match.


In reply, Hyderabad achieved the target in the 19th over, losing five wickets with opener G Trisha (35, 24b, 8×4) being the top-scorer.

The scores: Odisha 108/8 in 20 overs (Madhuri Meheta 32, M Sakshi Rao 3/18, V Mahesh Kavya 2/24, Drithi Kesari 2/19) lost to Hyderabad 109/5 in 18.3 overs (G Trisha 35).
