Fire at Somajiguda liquor outlet; property gutted, no casualties

A fire broke out at a liquor outlet on Raj Bhavan Road, Somajiguda, in the early hours of Saturday, destroying property worth several lakhs. No casualties were reported.

Hyderabad: Property worth a few lakhs was gutted when a fire broke out at a liquor outlet at Somajiguda on Saturday early hours.

No casualties were reported in the incident.

According to the fire officials, the fire started at the liquor shop located on Raj Bhavan road, Somajiguda and upon receiving information, fire tenders from different fire stations reached the spot and doused the fire within a short time.

The fire officials suspect the fire might have been triggered due to a short circuit. However, the exact reason is still being ascertained.
