Fire breaks out at Shiva Parvathi theatre in KPHB

Officials from both the fire department and the police reached the spot and started fighting the fire. Fire engines were rushed and the fire was doused in an hour.

Hyderabad: A fire broke out in Shiva Parvathi Theatre at KPHB here on Monday morning. No casualties were reported and a short circuit is suspected to have led to the fire.

The local residents who noticed the fire and flames from the premises, alerted the fire department and police.

A short circuit from the main switch board is suspected to be the cause, the official said., adding that the total worth of the property damaged was yet to be estimated.

The KPHB police are investigating.
