Fire breaks out at Tirumala Theatre in Karimnagar, property damaged

A fire allegedly caused by a short circuit broke out at Tirumala Theatre in Karimnagar in the early hours of Saturday. Fire personnel brought the blaze under control, but around 200 seats and several theatre facilities were damaged

Karimnagar: A fire broke out at Tirumala Theatre, located near Ambedkar Stadium in Karimnagar town, late on Friday night. A short circuit is said to be the cause of the fire accident, which occurred at around 1 am.

Noticing the flames spreading across the theatre, the staff alerted the Fire Services Department. Fire personnel rushed to the spot and brought the flames under control. About 200 seats, the false ceiling, screen, sound system and projector room were gutted.
