Fisherman drowns after getting entangled in own fishing net in Sangareddy
Kanchanapally Anjaneyulu (49) had waded deep into the Nalla Cheruvu lake to cast his fishing net. Unfortunately, his legs became entangled in the net, preventing him from swimming back to shore. Despite efforts by fellow fishermen to save him, he had already gone under the water by the time they arrived.
Sangareddy: A fisherman drowned in a lake at Kodakanchi after his legs got entangled in his fishing net on Friday.
Kanchanapally Anjaneyulu (49) had ventured deep into the Nalla Cheruvu water body with his fishing net. However, he could not swim back ashore as his legs got entangled in the net. He disappeared into the water by the time fellow fishermen reached the spot in a bid to rescue him.
The body was retrieved and shifted to the area hospital in Patancheru for postmortem. Jinnaram police registered a case.
