Five govt employees succumb to Covd-19 in last three days in Nizamabad

Nizamabad: A revenue junior assistant and a government school teacher died of Covid in Nizamabad district on Friday.
The revenue assistant identified as Jadav Vijaya was a native of Padmajiwadi village of Sadasiva Nagar mandal and was working as a junior assistant at the Tadwai tahsildar office. For the last four days, she was down with Covid and was under treatment at a hospital, where she succumbed today.
In another incident, government school teacher Pilli Vijay Kumar succumbed to the virus while undergoing treatment at a hospital. He was working as SGT at Mupkal Government High School in the district.
These two deaths, have taken the count to five government employees who have succumbed to Covid in the past three days in the district. Earlier, three police personnel had died.
It may be pointed out that over 150 police personnel from the district and several government employees have tested positive for the virus. Many were taking treatment in hospitals while a few others were under home quarantine.
Two women die
In another Covid related tragedy in the district, two women died after their respective spouses fell to the dreaded virus.
Bagavva, a resident of Bhirkoor mandal headquarters died of Covid, three days after her husband Saidulu had succumbed to the virus sending the family into a state of shock.
In another incident, the wife of a MIM leader died of shock an hour after the leader’s last rites. The MIM’s Armoor town president Gore Miya (58) had died of Covid while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Hyderabad. Learning, about his demise, his wife went into a state of shock and died within an hour of Gore Miya’s last rites.
