Five Nepali men sentenced to seven days jail for harassing woman in Hyderabad
A Hyderabad court sentenced five Nepali nationals to seven days in jail for harassing a woman near Nizam College PG Hostel on May 27. The Abid Road police arrested the accused, who were later convicted by the Nampally court on Friday.

Hyderabad: A local court on Friday has sentenced five Nepali men to seven days in jail for harassing a woman near the Nizam College PG Hostel earlier this week.
The incident occurred on May 27, when the convicted men identified as Sunil, Umesh, Laxman, Purushotham and Ram, all Nepal nationals working as catering workers and residing in King Koti, in an drunken state misbehaved with a woman who was travelling with her husband on a motorcycle.
Based on the couple’s complaint, the Abid Road police registered a case and arrested them.
On Friday, they were produced before the court in Nampally, which convicted and sentenced them to jail.
