Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, a five-year-old girl allegedly died after getting trapped in a lift at a women’s hostel in Gachibowli on Wednesday. The incident occurred at the Mahi Women PG located in the Gowlidoddi area, and the child was identified as Bistu Saif.
According to the police, while playing, the child allegedly got stuck in a grill-fitted lift inside the hostel building and suffered fatal injuries. Police said the girl had been staying at the hostel with her grandparents, who work as security guards at the premises.
A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway to determine how the incident occurred.
