Four-year-old girl dies of suffocation after being trapped in car in Kothagudem
A four-year-old girl died of suffocation after accidentally getting trapped inside a car at Vinoba Nagar village in Julurupad mandal of Kothagudem district on Sunday. Family members found her unconscious and rushed her to hospitals, but doctors confirmed her death

Kothagudem: A four-year-old girl died of suffocation after getting trapped inside a car at Vinoba Nagar village in Julurupad mandal of the district on Sunday.
According to family members, Tanvitha Sri (4), the eldest daughter of Vinoba Nagar village sarpanch Gangavath Naveen, was playing at home when she entered a car parked nearby. The car door accidentally locked, leaving the child trapped inside.
When the child could not be found after some time, her mother, Aishwarya, became anxious. She, along with other family members, searched the house, the surrounding area and the village. They eventually found the girl lying unconscious inside the car.
They immediately pulled the child out and rushed her to a rural medical practitioner in Julurupad. After being informed that her condition was critical, they shifted her to a hospital in Kothagudem. However, doctors confirmed that the child had already died.
The death of the girl cast a pall of gloom over Vinoba Nagar village. On learning about the incident, Wyra MLA Ramdas Naik and villagers visited Naveen’s house and consoled the bereaved family.
