Roses, sanitisers welcomed school students on Wednesday as they returned to schools after over 18 months due to the raging pandemic.
Enthusiastic students wearing masks headed to schools and were happy to meet their friends after a long gap. Students were elated to be able to attend the first offline class of the current academic session and were adhering to Covid-guidelines like wearing masks and maintaining physical distancing on the school campuses.
At the Zilla Parishad High School (ZPHS) in Kunsi in Narayanpet district, headmistress Shirisha along with teachers Udaysri, M Shiva Shankar, Mahesh, Narayana, P Srinivasulu, Shashidhar, Sangappa welcomed students with roses .
Covid guidelines The school made elaborate arrangements to ensure physical distancing inside classrooms and arranged sanitisers for students and staff, the school headmistress said.
