Food poisoning at Tribal Welfare Girls Hostel: Vikarabad Collector suspends staff and takes action

The Collector visited the hostel on Thursday and confirmed that the students had fully recovered from the illness. He also announced that the suspended staff would be replaced with new personnel. To ensure the safety of drinking water and its use in cooking across schools in the district, 12,000 H2S test vials were procured to check the water quality.

Vikarabad: Collector Prateek Jain suspended the Tribal Welfare Girls Hostel warden and three cooks in connection with the food poisoning incident that occurred in the hostel on Tuesday.

The Collector visited the hostel on Thursday and said the students had recovered from the illness. He also said the suspended staff would be replaced with new staff members. To ensure safe drinking water was provided for students and used for cooking in the schools across the district and to check the quality of water, 12,000 H2S test vials were procured.
