Food safety awareness meet at Begum Bazar on April 13
The Hyderabad Kirana Merchants’ Association, along with Telangana Police, H-FAST team and FSSAI, will hold a public awareness meeting on food safety and compliance at Begum Bazar on Monday. Senior police officials and FSSAI representatives will guide traders, aiming to strengthen safe food practices and regulatory awareness in the city’s key commercial hub.

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Kirana Merchants’ Association, in association with Telangana State Police, H-FAST Team, and the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), is organising a public awareness meeting to promote food safety and compliance among traders and merchants at Mitti Ka Sher, Begum Bazar, here on Monday at 5 pm.
Task Force DCP Vaibhav Gaikwad, Additional DCP Ande Srinivas, H-FAST Inspector Renjith, FSSAI national director Balu Naik, Law & Order DCP G Chandramohan, and Goshamahal ACP Sudarshan will attend the meeting and guide the merchant traders. This awareness drive is a significant step towards building a safer food ecosystem in Hyderabad’s key trading hub, Begum Bazar, a press release said.
