Football: Nizamabad XI side meet Chennai in final

After playing out a goalless draw, CFA Nizamabad ousted the Hyderabad team in the penalty shootout.

Hyderabad: Hosts Care Football Academy, Nizamabad prevailed over Hyderabad 5-3, via penalty shootout, in the semifinal to enter the final of the inaugural Waheeb Memorial All India Invitation Football tournament in Nizamabad, on Saturday. The local team set up a summit clash with Chennai XI

After playing out a goalless draw, CFA Nizamabad ousted the Hyderabad team in the penalty shootout.

The local team will take on Chennai, who downed Kerala 3-2 in shootout after 1-1 draw in the regular time in the other semifinal.
