Former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj singh questions Motera pitch

However, a few players voiced their concerns over the nature of the pitch. Former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh too was not happy with the wicket. He took to twitter writing, “Finished in 2 days. However, congratulations to (India) @akshar2026 what a spell! congratulations @ashwinravi99 @ImIshant.” Meanwhile, Indian captain Virat Kohil defended the pitch and said it was the batsmen who lacked application on a wicket that offered turn.
