Formula E race case: Sponsor of racing event, Greenko MD Anil Kumar appears before ACB

Hyderabad: Greenko Group Managing Director, Anil Kumar Chalamalasetty, appeared before the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Saturday in connection with the on-going investigation into the alleged procedural lapses in the Formula E race case.
The ACB had issued summons to Anil Kumar two days ago asking him to appear before the agency for investigation. Ace Nxt Gen Private Limited, a subsidiary of Greenko Group, was the sponsor of the racing event hosted in February 2023.
The ACB officials are enquiring into the transactions and the transfer of amounts from the State government to different companies linked to the Formula E race case.
