Telangana High Court to take up hearing of Lunch motion by KT Rama Rao at 4 p.m

Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court has on Tuesday allowed the lunch motion filed by BRS working president K T Rama Rao in the Formula E Race case and sought some information from the Anti-Corruption Bureau about the practise of allowing advocated during the questioning of the accused persons.
Advocates representing K T Rama Rao filed the lunch motion seeking a high court direction to the ACB to allow the advocates to accompany Rama Rao during the questioning by the ACB. Justice K Lakshman, before whom the lunch motion came up, asked the standing counsel of the ACB whether such a practise was there in the ACB. He particularly wanted to know whether the ACB would allow the advocates to watch the questioning from some distance.
The judge also asked the petitioner’s counsel to submit the names of three advocates. The matte is to be taken up at 4 p.m.
