Foundation day of Carmel high school celebrated in Mancherial
Students presented cultural programmes that enthralled the audience. They danced to film songs and enacted skits, portraying important stages of Jesus Christ’s life.

Mancherial: Students celebrated ‘Carmel Day’ on the premises of Carmel High School on a colorful note in Mancherial on Wednesday. Rev. Father Daniel was the chief guest of the event, while the guest of honour was Mother Maria Augustin.
Addressing students and parents, Rev. Daniel narrated social service activities being taken by the Carmel Education Society. He said that a special focus was being laid on providing quality education through the schools run by the society in different parts of Telangana with affordable fee structure.
He stated that educational institutions of the society were the most-sought after destinations for quality English medium education.
Later, students presented cultural programmes that enthralled the audience. They danced to film songs and enacted skits, portraying important stages of Jesus Christ’s life and spreading his messages. A cake was cut to mark the occasion. Top performing teachers were felicitated. Students dressed in their best were excited to witness the glittering celebrations.
Sister Rincy, the principal of State Board School and Sister Rinet principal of CBSE board school, teachers and parents were present.
