Four arrested for gambling in Mancherial
Ramagundam task force police said that Pettem Thirupathi, Md Kaleem, both from Luxettipet town, Gandham Narayanam of Jannaram and Chindam Sathish belonging to Dandepalli mandal were apprehended while committing the offence, following a tip-off.
Mancherial: Four persons were arrested by sleuths of a task force for allegedly indulging in banned gambling in a forest in Dandepalli mandal on Friday. Police seized Rs 53, 460, four mobile phones and three motorbikes were seized from them.
Ramagundam task force police said that Pettem Thirupathi, Md Kaleem, both from Luxettipet town, Gandham Narayanam of Jannaram and Chindam Sathish belonging to Dandepalli mandal were apprehended while committing the offence, following a tip-off.
The four were handed over to Dandepalli police for further action.
Two more accused persons, Patharaveni Lachanna from Luxettipet mandal and Nelki Ravinder of Dandepalli mandal were still large.
