Four arrested for job and loan fraud in Adilabad
Adilabad police arrested four persons for allegedly duping 25 people by promising government jobs and bank loans. The prime accused allegedly collected Rs 70 lakh, posed as a government employee and issued fake appointment letters to victims across the erstwhile Adilabad district.
Adilabad: Four persons were arrested on the charges of duping the public under the guise of jobs and loans.
SP Akhil Mahajan, in a statement issued here on Tuesday, said that Chahakati Limbarao from Narnoor, Jadi Praveen Kumar, Utnoor, Ramtenki Uday Kiran, Kerameri and Jadi Ravinder of Jainoor were apprehended for duping 25 persons under the pretext of providing jobs with government organizations and loans from banks.
During interrogations, Limbarao reportedly confessed to collecting Rs 70 lakh from gullible people by promising to offer jobs, by proclaiming himself as a government employee. He admitted to issuing fake appointment letters to the victims from different parts of erstwhile Adilabad district. He formed a gang with the three.
