Four held for harassing women in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad She Team caught four youngsters on charges of harassing women at public places in Kukatpally, police said here on Tuesday.

The suspects, Pandu, Shiva, Laxman and Shankar Narayan, all in their twenties were found harassing women at the Bhagya Nagar Colony bus stop in Kukatpally. The She Team personnel who were present there as part of a decoy operation documented their acts and caught them.


They were counseled and handed over to the Kukatpally police, who booked cases and are investigating.

Man held for misbehaving with woman

In an another incident, a rowdy sheeter who allegedly misbehaved with a woman was arrested by the Chatrinaka police on Tuesday.

The accused Syed Ibrahim (36) of Kandikal Gate, against whom a rowdy sheet is maintained at the Chatrinaka police station, in an inebriated condition allegedly misbehaved with a woman three days ago. Based on a complaint, the police booked a case and arrested him. He was produced before a court and remanded in judicial custody.
