Four held in Hyderabad for software job fraud

Hyderabad: The Task Force (North) team along with the local police caught four persons on charges of cheating 13 job aspirants promising jobs in reputed software companies to the tune of Rs 26.2 lakh in Marredpally on Tuesday. They issued fake offer letters in the name of companies.
Officials seized cash of Rs 5.6 lakh, mobile phones and other material, altogether worth Rs 6 lakh from them.
The arrested gang members are identified as G Pavan Kumar from Begumpet, B Revanth from Old Safilguda, B Rajiv Reddy from Palnadu in Andhra Pradesh and S Sudheer from Amberpet.
According to the police, the suspects gathered information from various sources about job aspirants who try to get jobs in software companies through the back door. If a candidate approached Pavan for any job, he collected their certificate copies, initial payments and thereafter directs them to Revanth, who impersonated as a Human Resources Manager for a software firm for which the candidate is applying.
Revanth, will brief the candidates about the job and also takes telephonic interview on phone. Rajiv Reddy prepared fake mail IDs, on different company names and forward to the candidates who had applied and were cleared by Revanth upon their payment of money.
Besides, Pavan also created fake job letters and forwarded them to the job aspirants. He paid about Rs 10,000 commission to Rajiv, Revanth and Sudheer for each candidate.
The job aspirants believed those mails were sent by companies to which they had applied and which are genuine.
Following a complaint, the police busted the job fraud racket and nabbed the gang.
