Four held with 4.5 kg ganja in Hyderabad; Two accomplices on the Run

Musheerabad police arrested four individuals for smuggling 4.5 kg of dry ganja into Hyderabad from Vizag. The accused were planning to sell the narcotics locally.

Hyderabad: The Musheerabad police arrested four persons who were allegedly transporting dry ganja and seized 4.5 kilograms of the contraband from them.

The arrested persons are CP Shekar Sumar (30), Kaleru Vihan (22), V Sai Vailash (34) and Ch Santosh (22). Two others Vinod and Srinivas, both of Araku in A.P are absconding.

The four persons had brought the ganja from Vizag and were planning to sell it locally when, based on a tip-off, the police caught them. Efforts are on to nab the Vinod and Srinivas, who are absconding.
