Four killed in two separate accidents in Vikarabad

Three members of a family including an infant and a police constable died in separate road accidents in Vikarabad on Monday morning.

Vikarabad: Four persons, including a child died in two separate accidents in the district on Monday.

A couple and child were riding on a two-wheeler and heading towards Zaheerabad from Tandur. However, at Thattepally in Peddamul mandal, a lorry hit the two-wheeler resulting in spot death of the couple and child.


The truck driver along with the truck surrendered before the Peddamul police, according to reports.

In another incident, a constable lost his life after the two-wheeler which he was riding lost control and fell into the pit at an under construction bridge site at Laxminarayanpur village, Yalala mandal.

The Constable, who is identified as Narasimlu (30) was heading for duty in Hyderabad, reports said.
