Bhongir: Four persons of the same family from Yadadri Bhongir district, who were on a pilgrimage, were killed in a road accident near Aurangabad in Maharashtra on Thursday.
A six-month old baby was also among those killed. Ten others, who were injured in the accident were shifted to the Aurangabad hospital.
The family was on its way from Kondagadapa village to Shirdi when the jeep they were travelling in collided with a tractor. More details are awaited.
On Tuesday, one 70-year-old farmer from Nirmal district was burnt alive after his cigarette allegedly triggered a fire in a bus on which about 50 persons were on a pilgrimage to the Maha Kumbh.
The other 49 persons had got off the bus a little earlier to have darshan at a temple in Vrindavan in Mathura city. They were returning from the Maha Kumbh underway at Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh along with four or five other buses, all from Nirmal district.
