Four workers injured as centering structure collapses during repair work at Hyderabad’s ESI Hospital

Police reached the spot soon after the alert and began rescue operations

Hyderabad: At least four construction workers sustained grievous injuries when a centering structure collapsed during repair work at the Emergency Ward of ESI Hospital in Sanathnagar on Monday.

According to initial information, the incident occurred when about five workers were at the site. A major portion of the slab collapsed onto the iron frames erected for the repair work, causing the structure to give way and fall on the workers.

After being alerted by hospital authorities, Sanathnagar police reached the spot and launched a rescue operation.
